Tune your Bağlama – easily and accurately

Telli Turna is a tuner app for Bağlama · Saz on Android – for smartphones and tablets in portrait and landscape. The app has been tested by a Bağlama teacher and is suitable for beginners and experienced players.

Clear display

A semicircular display shows whether the note is in tune: green in tune, blue too low → tighten the string, red too high → loosen the string.

Automatic string detection

The played string is detected automatically or can be selected manually.

Reference tone and note view

Play a reference tone for comparison; note view simple, with octave or with frequency.

Out-of-tune double strings

The app detects when the two strings of a pair are not tuned alike.

Ad-free and offline

No ads, no internet connection required for tuning. Languages: Turkish, German, English.

How to become a tester

Telli Turna is in closed testing. Try the app for free before its release and help us with your feedback.

  1. Send the e-mail address of your Google account to info@astering.de.
  2. Once approved, first sign in with this Google account (browser or device), then open the opt-in link and tap “Become a tester”.
  3. Install Telli Turna Bağlama Tuner from the Google Play Store.

Frequently asked questions

Which devices are supported?

Android smartphones and tablets running Android 9 or newer with a microphone, in portrait and landscape.

Does the app need an internet connection?

Not for tuning. Pitch detection runs entirely on the device.

How accurate is the pitch detection?

Accuracy depends on the ambient conditions and the device. Tuning in a quiet environment improves results.

What happens to my data?

The microphone signal is processed locally for pitch detection only – no recordings, no transmission. Details in the Telli Turna privacy policy.
