Information on the processing of personal data in accordance with GDPR
This policy applies specifically to the app "Telli Turna – Bağlama Tuner" (Android/iOS) and supplements the general privacy policy of astering.de.
The tuning function requires access to your device's microphone. The captured audio signal is processed exclusively locally on your device in real time and used for pitch detection.

Microphone access can be revoked at any time via your device settings; the tuning function will then no longer be available.
The free basic version of the app (Kısa Sap / La Karar, manual mode) can be used without any data collection. When purchasing the paid Pro version (unlocking additional tunings and automatic mode) via Google Play, the following data is collected:
Purpose of processing: unlocking and permanently providing the features you purchased (license management), fraud prevention. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
There is no registration – you do not create a user account with a password and do not need to sign in.
Beyond the data described in section 3, the app does not collect or store any:
The data described in section 3 is transmitted in encrypted form (TLS/HTTPS) to Firebase (Google) and stored there. Firebase and Google Play Billing are infrastructure services of the same provider (Google) and act as processors for our app functionality. No data is disclosed to any other third party.
The anonymous identifier and purchase data stored for license management do not, by themselves, allow us to draw any conclusion about your identity; an association would only be possible via Google (Art. 11 GDPR).
If you would like to request deletion of your stored entry, please email info@astering.de and provide your Google Play order number for unambiguous identification (found in the Play Store under "Payments & subscriptions" → Order history). We will then delete the corresponding record.
This privacy policy is based on the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as a high, binding standard of protection. As the app is used worldwide, additional or different legal rights may apply in your country, which we cannot list individually for every jurisdiction here. Regardless of your place of residence, the following always applies: we only process the data described in sections 2–5, this data alone does not allow us to draw any conclusion about your identity, and you may request deletion at any time in accordance with section 6.
